The Muscat Court of First Instance has sentenced today, 2 January 2018, Khaled Alrashdi, a former media presenter, to one year in prison according to the Article 19 of the Cyber Crimes Law, a fine of 2600$, and 2600$ in case of appeal.Alrashdi previously published tweets about official institutions violating the law, without naming the institutions.
